Boris & Merzbow kündigen Kollabo-Album 2R0I2P0 an

Boris und Merzbow haben ihr neues Kollabo-Album angekündigt und direkt den Titel mitgeliefert. Dieser lautet 2R0I2P0 und ist für eine Veröffentlichung am 11. Dezember 2020 auf Relapse Records vorgesehen. Der Albumtitel löst sich in 2020 R.I.P. auf, wenn man genau hinschaut. Merzbow ergänzt einige Tracks aus dem Katalog von Boris auf seine eigene Art und Weise. Boris selbst sagt dazu: „This year was a period of trial for everyone in the world. This work becomes a monument to the requiem of the previous era. From here, a new world begins again.“
